Welcome to The Plyground!
My name is Marion and I'm an expat who recently returned to the Netherlands after spending 23 years living and working in various Asian countries.
Despite being back in my home country, I still feel like an outsider, as I no longer have family here and find it challenging to readjust to Dutch customs. Additionally, I deeply miss conversing in English.
That's why I created The Plyground, a space where I can connect with fellow craft enthusiasts throughout Craft Cafe's and Workshops. As an expat myself, I understand the challenges that come with living in a foreign country and the longing for a sense of belonging.
The Plyground aims to be more than just a yarn and crafts shop; it's a place where people can come together, connect with like-minded individuals, and find solace in shared experiences.
I speak fluent Dutch, English, German and a little French.
